Best Heart Care Results in the United States
USA Today spotlighted Lehigh Valley Hospital for having the best heart-attack-care survival rates in the nation according to data from Hospital Compare (hospitalcompare.hhs.gov). The story cited our MI Alert for Heart Attacks program as a key reason and features Richard Silverman, a South Whitehall Township man who survived a heart attack in October 2007. The news spread quickly and was featured on 69 News (WFMZ-TV), The Morning Call, The Danville News, The Federal Times and ABC affiliate WZZM-TV 13 in Grand Rapids, Mich.
